COURSE OBJECTIVES


The course pays attention to the principle of nanoscience and nanotechnology and its relation to chemistry, physics, biology, engineering and medicine.

COURSE CONTENT


In this workshop, we will introduce the participant to the nanoscience and nanotechnology filed which include the preparation nanomaterial and how to characterize them. The participant will gain a rich understanding of the capabilities of nanotechnology in real life.

About the Instructor

Ali Bumajdad


Professor Ali Bumajdad has solid experience in the field of environment, nanotechnology, catalysis, cement and concrete, detergency, energy, sustainability, water-related research, etc.

Prof. Bumajdad has a broad experience in nanomaterials and nanotechnology. He targeted materials with environmental, renewable energy, sensors, water treatment, and green chemistry applications (e.g. pure and doped CeO2, TiO2 and ZnO, MgO, SiO2, ZrO2, Al2O3, Fe2O3, Ag, Au, Ni, graphene, carbon nanotube, functionalized activated carbon, etc.)
