Chemicals and the scientific ways
of dealing with their dangers

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

The course pays attention to all those who are concerned with chemicals, those who work in chemical labs, Ministry of Public Works, Ministry of Health, Environmental Public Authority and labs technicians in the Ministry of Education.

COURSE OBJECTIVES

The course focuses on a detailed theoretical and practical explanation of the proper ways of dealing with the accidents of chemicals.

COURSE CONTENT

The course is concerned with a comprehensive review of chemicals, namely those which are regularly dealt with in labs. Unlike laboratory safety courses, this course focuses on the proper ways of dealing with chemicals. There is a space of time, thus, to shed light on dealing with the dangers of chemicals in a meticulous detail instead of focusing on other laboratory safety topics which could be neither concentrated nor comprehensive. The course will also shed light on the danger of chemicals and their effect on health and how to use and handle them in case of infiltration and pollution. The course will also focus on how to deal with different chemical accidents whenever they take place and the important first aids together with how to get rid of the used chemicals and recycling some of them. The course also will discuss chemical accidents that cause fires or explosions and the ways of dealing with such accidents.
